KMST shows Maplestory’s BIG surgery!


Maplestory, a game that stayed with us since it’s release in 2003~2006.

Now, Nexon Korea released a Testing Server for Maplestory (KMST) for patch 1.2.318/.320.

Everything you knew about Maplestory, all the maps, all the monsters, the party quests, and the exp amounts, all the skills, and everything else, that we enjoyed for many years, have COMPLETELY CHANGED!

There is A LOT that they changed to find everything I made up a table. Just Copy the symboly next to the thing you want to see and search it using your Browser. Internet Explorer, (CTRL) + (F) the paste it in. Mozilla Firefox, (CTRL) +( F). Other browsers will be added shortly.

(Side note: Until we know the clearly, for now we know that ALL monsters have been boosted. Which means, more effort for less exp. [Look at it.])

1. (IWJ): Warrior Jobs

Warriors:

  • All masteries now give 60 accuracy at max level.
  • Boosters of 2 kinds (Axe/sword for example) are turned into 1 booster. This is the same with charges and etc.
  • FA activates with all skills, including skills like Brandish, Coma, Panic, Rush and Monster Magnet.
  • All Final Attacks are now 150% at 40% chance
  • It seems that FA doesn’t work like FA works now, but that it gives 40% chance of hitting 50% MORE for every attack at max level!
  • New skill: Ground smash does a great deal of damage (300% dmg at max) for small mobs (3 at max).
  • Enhanced basic adds 100% and 60% damage to Power strike and Slash blast respectively (2nd job skill)
  • Iron body now gives 200 DEF instead of 40 at max level.
  • Monster Magnet stuns for at most 5 seconds now.
  • Rush hits up to 15 monsters now, instead of 10.

Hero:
– Rage gives 20 W.ATT
– Power Guard now returns 50% of the damage instead of 40%.

- Shout damage increase from 30% to 220%
– Coma damage increase from 200% to 360%
– Combo Attack gives 3 attack for each orb at max level (so +15 attack with 5 orbs).
– Panic damage increase from 350% to 480%, 90% Chance to blind.
– Brandish is a 3rd job skill, albeit a bit weaker (220%) but still hits 3 mobs (yes I was wrong on this).

- New skill: Brave slash deals 170% damage to 3 monsters
– Advanced Combo Attack gives at max level +5% per orb (I don’t know if that’s 50% or 25% in total for 5 red orbs, altought I think 50%).
– Enrage buff increase from 26 W.ATT to 40 W.ATT

Dark Knight:

- Iron Will now gives 300 DEF and 100 MDEF instead of 20/20.

-New skill: Dragon Judgment gives Dragon Crusher and Fury passive Critical damage (5% chance at max level) and a chance of drain effect
– Dragon Fury damage increased from 250% to 380%
– Sacrifice damage increase from 350% to 800%. Now ignores W.DEF
– Dragon Roar HP consumption from 30% to 20%, damage from 240% to 280%
– Dragon Blood buff increase from 12 W.ATT to 30 W. ATT

- Hex of Beholder now gives 20 W. ATT and 40 ACC.
– New skill: Beholder’s Revenge: Reflects 400% of damage received.
– Beholder summon duration is now 20 minutes

- Spear Fury damage decreased from 170% to 150% (Dragon Crusher)
– Berserk only gives +30% if your HP is more than 70% of Max, and gives -30% of your def.

Paladin:
– Power Guard now returns 50% of the damage instead of 40%.

- Charged Blow damage increase from 250% to 370%
– New Skill: ‘Restorive Nation’: Gives 80% of MaxHP for 10MP with 60 seconds cooldown at max level.

- ACB raises Charge blow damage to 480% at max.
– Blast damage increase from 580% to 670%
– New Skill: ‘Beulraesing Armor’: Seems to stop the next 5 attacks from dealing damage at max level, cooldown time of 30 seconds.
– Heaven’s Hammer’s damage increased to 1000% from 900%.

- Fire charge damage decreased from 140% to 120%
– Thunder charge damage decreased from 125% to 115%

- Divine charge damage decreased from 150% to 125%

2. (IMJ): Mage Jobs

Mages:

  • All ultimates got a cooldown of at least 30 seconds (that’s at max level)
  • They got a mastery skill in 2nd job.
  • I only know that Bishops got some skill that gives buffs +50% duration time.
  • It looks like there’s a new magic accuracy formula that requires LOADS of LUK to work. Good-bye to LUKless mages?
  • At max level, Infinity recovers 10% HP and MP every 4 seconds and all attacks increase by 10% for 40 seconds, cooldown 4 minutes
  • At max level, Mana Reflections returns 1000% damage instead of 200% damage.
  • All mages get Teleport Mastery, which increases Teleport Distance and has a 30% chance to deal 250% damage to 6 enemies and stun them for two seconds at max level.
  • Energy Bolt is now stronger than Magic Claw(280% vs. 120% x 2.)
  • Magic Armor now gives 120 magic and weapon defense instead of 40 weapon defense.
  • Improving Max MP Increase and MP Recovery Removed removed. (The MP got on each levelup stays the same as before and after this revamp though)
  • New MP Increase skill that permanently increases MP by 20% at max.

Bishop

  • Elemental Resistance went from 50% down to 40% at max level.
  • Priests get Holy Attractions, which increases increases magic attack and permanently increases critical rate to 40% at max level(not sure on this)
  • Bishops STILL HAVE Resurrection (my fault, sorry); moreover, the max lvl decreased to 5, still with 30 minute cooldown.
  • Bless give 60 accuracy and avoidability and 120 magic and weapon defense.

Fire Poison:
– Slow now reduces 80 speed for 80 seconds instead of 40 speed for 40 seconds.
– Partial Resistence went down to 60% from 70%
– Element Amplification is now 130% of the m.atk for 160% of the MP (instead of 140% of m.atk for 200% of MP)
– Poison rate for Element Composition went up to 80% from 70%
– Elemental Reset added, 100% reset at max level (10)

Ice Lightning:
– Slow now reduces 80 speed for 80 seconds instead of 40 speed for 40 seconds.
– Thunderbolt hits 3 times now on 6 monsters. (not sure on this one)
– Partial Resistence went down to 60% from 70%
– Thunder Spear can stun for 5 seconds now and hits 5 times (not sure on the last part)
– Element Amplification is now 130% of the m.atk for 160% of the MP (instead of 140% of m.atk for 200% of MP)
– Elemental Reset added, 100% reset at max level (10)

3. (IBJ): Bowman Jobs

Bowman:

  • Arrow blow hits 3 monsters (!) with 190% damage at max level.
  • Enhanced Basics adds 50% to double shot and 70% to arrow blow (2nd job skill).
  • No minimum range to attack (just like the Gunslingers update!)
  • Eye of Amazone’s max level reduced to 5 from 8.
  • Focus gives 80 accuracy and avoid at max level instead of 20.
  • Power Knockback has a 100% KB rate at max level.
  • Soul arrow’s max level reduced to 10 from 20.
  • Final attack is 150% at 40%
  • Sharp Eyes still gives 15% Critical rate, but only with +10% Critical Damage.

Bowmaster:
– Arrow bomb damage increase from 150% to 230% damage.

- Thrust’s max level decreased to 10, giving the same 30 Speed.
– New skill: ‘Dodge’: something vague with attack or defense increase or so… I really have no clue, only that it’s 20% at max level ^^
– Puppet’s HP increase from 6000 to 8000
– Inferno’s damage increase from 160% to 300%
– Arrow rain hits 10 monsters with 350%
– Stafe damage increase from 100% to 125%

- New skill: ‘Benjyeonse’: Can KB the monster from close and stun it or something along those lines.
– Dragon Breath damage increase from 100% to 160%
– Hurricane damage increase from 100% to 130%
– Concentrate gives 25 attack at max level for 50% of the MP.

Marksman:
– Iron arrow damage increase from 200% to 300%

- Thrust’s max level decreased to 10, giving the same 30 Speed.
– Blizzard damage increase from 140% to 270%
– Arrow eruption hits 10 monsters with 350%
– Stafe damage increase from 100% to 125%
– Puppet’s HP increase from 6000 to 8000

- New skill: Marksmanship ignores 10% W.DEF of monster
– Snipe cooldown decreased to 4 seconds, damage cap of 999k

4. (ITJ): Thief Jobs

Thieves:

  • Nimble Body gives 60 accuracy/avoidability at max level now.
  • Keen eyes mastery level decreased to 5.
  • Lucky 7’s damage increased to 170% (from 150%) at max level.

Night Lord:
No minimum range to attack (just like the Gunslingers update!)
– New skill: Shadow resistance increases your MAXHP 10%
– Drain damage increased from 160% to 240%
– Avenger damage increased from 180% to 440%
– New skill: Shadow mirror reflects attacks at 1300%. Cannot reflect more than half of the monster’s Max HP

- Fake’s succession rate increased from 30% to 40%
– New skill: Expert Throwing Star Handling gives a 20% chance to instantly recharge 1 throwing star when attacking.
– Triple throw damage increased from 150% to 270%
– Ninja Ambush damage increased from 100% to 300%

Shadow Partner damage decreased from 80% to 40%

Shadower:
– Steal damage increased from 130% to 220%

- Assaulter damage increased from 500% to 340% four times (1360%)
– Pickpocket master level decreased to 10
– Band of Thieves damage increased from 250% to 390% (5 Enemies)
– Meso explosion nerfed to do 180% per 1 meso.

- New skill: Greed increases all meso-related skills. Meso drop +20%, Pickpocket succession rate +20%, Meso guard ratio +10%, Meso guard meso usage -10%, Meso explosion damage increase by 50%
– Assassinate damage increased from 600% to 740%
– Boomerang Step damage increased from 500% two times to 450% four times.

5. (IPC): Pirate Jobs

(Sorry no updates for the basic Pirate class…yet)

Buccaneer:
– New skill: Critical punch gives 20% Critical rate.
– Backspin blow damage increased from 240% to 310% and hits 4 enemies
– Corkscrew blow damage increased from 420% to 460% and hits 6 enemies
– Energy Charge: Accuracy +100, Avoidability +100, 20 W. ATT, 350% Touch damage, 90% No KB

- Transform’s defense increased from 40 to 60.
– New skill: Lucky dice gives you a random buff of 180 seconds. Does nothing if dice shows 1.

- Super Transform’s defenses increased from 60 to 140
– Barrage damage increased from 230% to 305%

- Double uppercut damage decreased from 290% to 215%
– Shockwave damage decreased from 700% to 630%

- Dragon Strike damage decreased from 810% to 560%
– Energy Blast damage decreased from 900% to 760%
– Demolition damage decreased from 400% 8 times to 320% 8 times.
– Snatch damage decreased from 600% to 570%

Corsair:
– New skill: Critical shot gives 20% Critical rate.
– Invisible shot damage increased from 170% to 310%

- Flamethrower damage increased from 190% to 320%
– Ice splitter damage increased from 160% to 280%
– New skill: Lucky dice gives you a random buff of 180 seconds. Does nothing if dice shows 1.

- New skill: Counter attack increases your W. ATT by 30 at 10% chance when attacking.

- Burst fire damage decreased from 210% to 170%
– Aerial strike damage decreased from 1200% to 650%, but no cooldown.
– Rapid fire damage decreased from 200% to 110%
– Battleship Cannon damage decreased from 380% 4 times (1520) to 195% 6 times (1170)
– Battleship Torpedo damage decreased from 780% to 600%

6. (IAJ): Aran

[WARNING: The Aran and Dual-Blade class has been downgraded dramatically!]

Aran:

- Combo Smash damage decreased from 700% to 500%
– Body pressure rate downgraded from 60% to 40%
– Final Charge damage increased to 200% from 90%

- Full Swing damage increased to 120%x2 and 360% (from 110%x2 and 350%)
– Final Toss damage increased to 350% from 110%
– Combo Critical rate downgraded from 6% per 10 combos to 3% per 10 combos
– Combo Penril damage decreased from 800% to 450%
– Rolling Spin damage increased to 280% from 120% now.

- Combo Tempest damage decreased from 1500% to 600%
– Over Swing damage increased to 180%x2 and 250%x2 (from 170%x2 and 240%x2)

7. (IEJ): Evan

Evan:
– Magic guard’s % got decreased to 70% of damage into MP, instead of the old 80%
– They got spell mastery just like every other mage class (max level 10).
– Elemental’s reset’s max level is 10 instead of 20.
– Chance of criticals is reduced to 15% from 30% at max level of Critical Magic (nothing is know at the moment for the damage increase if a critical is hit).
– Magic Booster’s max level is now 20 instead of 15.
– Slow’s max level is now 10 instead of 15.
– Elemental Amplification now is 120% damage for 150% MP instead of the old 135% damage for 180% MP.
– Blessing of Onyx gives now 250 Def and M.Def and 40 M.atk instead of the old 100/100/50.
– Dark Fog’s cooldown went up to 30 seconds at max level instead of 20 seconds.

8. (IDBJ): Dual Blade

Dual Blade:
– Triple Stab damage decreased from 200% three times to 135% three times
– Fatal blow damage decreased from 180% 8 times to 92% 8 times
– Slash storm damage decreased from 160% to 100%

- Bloody storm damage decreased from 280% to 170%
– Mirror Imaging percentage decreased from 60% to 40%
– Flying Assaulter damage decreased from 400% to 260%

- Final Cut damage decreased from 1500% to 1200%
– Monster Bomb damage decreased from 1200% to 800%
– Chains of Hell damage decreased from 250% to 130%
– Thorns critical rate decreased from 35% to 10%

Port Road is a map in Victoria Island that includes full access to the seven major towns in one area. You can climb up to access the station that goes to Ereb and Orbis. The two stations are no longer in Ellinia anymore. Ellinia became much smaller!

NPC’s can be found using the quest Window and through the World map. A list of NPC and/or monsterswill appear. The name and the level of the monster will appear.


10. (CII): Change in Maplestory’s Interface

Just Look: PICTURE 1 PICTURE 2

(After you looked): You noticed they changed the WHOLE User Interface, including the HP/MP/EXP bar, the menus at the bottom, skills panel, and it looks like it is more roomy. Which means, that you have more space for the map.

Also, in KMS you can play in window mode, and a special feature, you may play in 1024 by 768. Watch for yourself.

11. (NPQ): Party Quest Update

To characters, this is one update that can make people REALLY happy. You can Party Quest with any level, which means all items/and items are available to people who are over the quest preferred level. UP TO LEVEL 200! The maps inside the PQ’s

First Accomplishment: Lv.20 ~ Lv.200 (Watch this video)

Abandoned Tower: Lv.30 ~ Lv.200
Tower of Goddess: Lv.40 ~ Lv.200
Davy Jones/Pirate: Lv.50 ~ Lv.200

FOR NOW: Ariant Coliseum is closed.


12. (ETC): Other Updates
-New formula for W.Att and M.Att from monsters. (Zakum now has 4033 att for example.)
-At the status window Mages can now see their damage range.

This patch fixes the following issues, have been added.

1. The new game has been modified to support the execution environment.
– Game running [ALT] + [ENTER] when you run

6. Combat formula has been corrected.
– Physical damage, spell damage is related to changing the formula.
– Body armor, the magic formula has been changed for bangeoreok.
– Physics Error Correction, Magic myeongjungryul, physical hoepiyul, the magic formula has been changed for hoepiyul.
– The base critical chance with all the jobs have been added to critical damage.
– Mugibyeol skills have changed the default value.
– Archers, thieves use professional skills not played melee attacks has been fixed.

7. Provisional monster book menu has been closed.

Whew! This update is BIG, and it seems like leeching, and other Partner-Exp-Gains would become close -to/are obsolete. We don’t know if this update is going to be on the official server, but looking at the reactions to KMST 1.2.318, it seems like it does not appeal to most Maplers. But for all we know, it could just be a test, nothing more, or it can become real. Who knows, this update may become real, and things are still to be updated constantly, so anything can happen.   • New skill: Ground smash does a great deal of damage (300% dmg at max) for small mobs (3 at max).
  • Enhanced basic adds 100% and 60% damage to Power strike and Slash blast respectively (2nd job skill)
  • Iron body now gives 200 DEF instead of 40 at max level.
  • Monster Magnet stuns for at most 5 seconds now.
  • Rush hits up to 15 monsters now, instead of 10.

Hero:
– Rage gives 20 W.ATT
– Power Guard now returns 50% of the damage instead of 40%.

- Shout damage increase from 30% to 220%
– Coma damage increase from 200% to 360%
– Combo Attack gives 3 attack for each orb at max level (so +15 attack with 5 orbs).
– Panic damage increase from 350% to 480%, 90% Chance to blind.
– Brandish is a 3rd job skill, albeit a bit weaker (220%) but still hits 3 mobs (yes I was wrong on this).

- New skill: Brave slash deals 170% damage to 3 monsters
– Advanced Combo Attack gives at max level +5% per orb (I don’t know if that’s 50% or 25% in total for 5 red orbs, altought I think 50%).
– Enrage buff increase from 26 W.ATT to 40 W.ATT

Dark Knight:

- Iron Will now gives 300 DEF and 100 MDEF instead of 20/20.

-New skill: Dragon Judgment gives Dragon Crusher and Fury passive Critical damage (5% chance at max level) and a chance of drain effect
– Dragon Fury damage increased from 250% to 380%
– Sacrifice damage increase from 350% to 800%. Now ignores W.DEF
– Dragon Roar HP consumption from 30% to 20%, damage from 240% to 280%
– Dragon Blood buff increase from 12 W.ATT to 30 W. ATT

- Hex of Beholder now gives 20 W. ATT and 40 ACC.
– New skill: Beholder’s Revenge: Reflects 400% of damage received.
– Beholder summon duration is now 20 minutes

- Spear Fury damage decreased from 170% to 150% (Dragon Crusher)
– Berserk only gives +30% if your HP is more than 70% of Max, and gives -30% of your def.

Paladin:
– Power Guard now returns 50% of the damage instead of 40%.

- Charged Blow damage increase from 250% to 370%
– New Skill: ‘Restorive Nation’: Gives 80% of MaxHP for 10MP with 60 seconds cooldown at max level.

- ACB raises Charge blow damage to 480% at max.
– Blast damage increase from 580% to 670%
– New Skill: ‘Beulraesing Armor’: Seems to stop the next 5 attacks from dealing damage at max level, cooldown time of 30 seconds.
– Heaven’s Hammer’s damage increased to 1000% from 900%.

- Fire charge damage decreased from 140% to 120%
– Thunder charge damage decreased from 125% to 115%

- Divine charge damage decreased from 150% to 125%

2. (IMJ): Mage Jobs

Mages:

  • All ultimates got a cooldown of at least 30 seconds (that’s at max level)
  • They got a mastery skill in 2nd job.
  • I only know that Bishops got some skill that gives buffs +50% duration time.
  • It looks like there’s a new magic accuracy formula that requires LOADS of LUK to work. Good-bye to LUKless mages?
  • At max level, Infinity recovers 10% HP and MP every 4 seconds and all attacks increase by 10% for 40 seconds, cooldown 4 minutes
  • At max level, Mana Reflections returns 1000% damage instead of 200% damage.
  • All mages get Teleport Mastery, which increases Teleport Distance and has a 30% chance to deal 250% damage to 6 enemies and stun them for two seconds at max level.
  • Energy Bolt is now stronger than Magic Claw(280% vs. 120% x 2.)
  • Magic Armor now gives 120 magic and weapon defense instead of 40 weapon defense.
  • Improving Max MP Increase and MP Recovery Removed removed. (The MP got on each levelup stays the same as before and after this revamp though)
  • New MP Increase skill that permanently increases MP by 20% at max.

Bishop

  • Elemental Resistance went from 50% down to 40% at max level.
  • Priests get Holy Attractions, which increases increases magic attack and permanently increases critical rate to 40% at max level(not sure on this)
  • Bishops STILL HAVE Resurrection (my fault, sorry); moreover, the max lvl decreased to 5, still with 30 minute cooldown.
  • Bless give 60 accuracy and avoidability and 120 magic and weapon defense.

Fire Poison:
– Slow now reduces 80 speed for 80 seconds instead of 40 speed for 40 seconds.
– Partial Resistence went down to 60% from 70%
– Element Amplification is now 130% of the m.atk for 160% of the MP (instead of 140% of m.atk for 200% of MP)
– Poison rate for Element Composition went up to 80% from 70%
– Elemental Reset added, 100% reset at max level (10)

Ice Lightning:
– Slow now reduces 80 speed for 80 seconds instead of 40 speed for 40 seconds.
– Thunderbolt hits 3 times now on 6 monsters. (not sure on this one)
– Partial Resistence went down to 60% from 70%
– Thunder Spear can stun for 5 seconds now and hits 5 times (not sure on the last part)
– Element Amplification is now 130% of the m.atk for 160% of the MP (instead of 140% of m.atk for 200% of MP)
– Elemental Reset added, 100% reset at max level (10)

3. (IBJ): Bowman Jobs

Bowman:

  • Arrow blow hits 3 monsters (!) with 190% damage at max level.
  • Enhanced Basics adds 50% to double shot and 70% to arrow blow (2nd job skill).
  • No minimum range to attack (just like the Gunslingers update!)
  • Eye of Amazone’s max level reduced to 5 from 8.
  • Focus gives 80 accuracy and avoid at max level instead of 20.
  • Power Knockback has a 100% KB rate at max level.
  • Soul arrow’s max level reduced to 10 from 20.
  • Final attack is 150% at 40%
  • Sharp Eyes still gives 15% Critical rate, but only with +10% Critical Damage.

Bowmaster:
– Arrow bomb damage increase from 150% to 230% damage.

- Thrust’s max level decreased to 10, giving the same 30 Speed.
– New skill: ‘Dodge’: something vague with attack or defense increase or so… I really have no clue, only that it’s 20% at max level ^^
– Puppet’s HP increase from 6000 to 8000
– Inferno’s damage increase from 160% to 300%
– Arrow rain hits 10 monsters with 350%
– Stafe damage increase from 100% to 125%

- New skill: ‘Benjyeonse’: Can KB the monster from close and stun it or something along those lines.
– Dragon Breath damage increase from 100% to 160%
– Hurricane damage increase from 100% to 130%
– Concentrate gives 25 attack at max level for 50% of the MP.

Marksman:
– Iron arrow damage increase from 200% to 300%

- Thrust’s max level decreased to 10, giving the same 30 Speed.
– Blizzard damage increase from 140% to 270%
– Arrow eruption hits 10 monsters with 350%
– Stafe damage increase from 100% to 125%
– Puppet’s HP increase from 6000 to 8000

- New skill: Marksmanship ignores 10% W.DEF of monster
– Snipe cooldown decreased to 4 seconds, damage cap of 999k

4. (ITJ): Thief Jobs

Thieves:

  • Nimble Body gives 60 accuracy/avoidability at max level now.
  • Keen eyes mastery level decreased to 5.
  • Lucky 7’s damage increased to 170% (from 150%) at max level.

Night Lord:
No minimum range to attack (just like the Gunslingers update!)
– New skill: Shadow resistance increases your MAXHP 10%
– Drain damage increased from 160% to 240%
– Avenger damage increased from 180% to 440%
– New skill: Shadow mirror reflects attacks at 1300%. Cannot reflect more than half of the monster’s Max HP

- Fake’s succession rate increased from 30% to 40%
– New skill: Expert Throwing Star Handling gives a 20% chance to instantly recharge 1 throwing star when attacking.
– Triple throw damage increased from 150% to 270%
– Ninja Ambush damage increased from 100% to 300%

Shadow Partner damage decreased from 80% to 40%

Shadower:
– Steal damage increased from 130% to 220%

- Assaulter damage increased from 500% to 340% four times (1360%)
– Pickpocket master level decreased to 10
– Band of Thieves damage increased from 250% to 390% (5 Enemies)
– Meso explosion nerfed to do 180% per 1 meso.

- New skill: Greed increases all meso-related skills. Meso drop +20%, Pickpocket succession rate +20%, Meso guard ratio +10%, Meso guard meso usage -10%, Meso explosion damage increase by 50%
– Assassinate damage increased from 600% to 740%
– Boomerang Step damage increased from 500% two times to 450% four times.

5. (IPC): Pirate Jobs

(Sorry no updates for the basic Pirate class…yet)

Buccaneer:
– New skill: Critical punch gives 20% Critical rate.
– Backspin blow damage increased from 240% to 310% and hits 4 enemies
– Corkscrew blow damage increased from 420% to 460% and hits 6 enemies
– Energy Charge: Accuracy +100, Avoidability +100, 20 W. ATT, 350% Touch damage, 90% No KB

- Transform’s defense increased from 40 to 60.
– New skill: Lucky dice gives you a random buff of 180 seconds. Does nothing if dice shows 1.

- Super Transform’s defenses increased from 60 to 140
– Barrage damage increased from 230% to 305%

- Double uppercut damage decreased from 290% to 215%
– Shockwave damage decreased from 700% to 630%

- Dragon Strike damage decreased from 810% to 560%
– Energy Blast damage decreased from 900% to 760%
– Demolition damage decreased from 400% 8 times to 320% 8 times.
– Snatch damage decreased from 600% to 570%

Corsair:
– New skill: Critical shot gives 20% Critical rate.
– Invisible shot damage increased from 170% to 310%

- Flamethrower damage increased from 190% to 320%
– Ice splitter damage increased from 160% to 280%
– New skill: Lucky dice gives you a random buff of 180 seconds. Does nothing if dice shows 1.

- New skill: Counter attack increases your W. ATT by 30 at 10% chance when attacking.

- Burst fire damage decreased from 210% to 170%
– Aerial strike damage decreased from 1200% to 650%, but no cooldown.
– Rapid fire damage decreased from 200% to 110%
– Battleship Cannon damage decreased from 380% 4 times (1520) to 195% 6 times (1170)
– Battleship Torpedo damage decreased from 780% to 600%

6. (IAJ): Aran

[WARNING: The Aran and Dual-Blade class has been downgraded dramatically!]

Aran:

- Combo Smash damage decreased from 700% to 500%
– Body pressure rate downgraded from 60% to 40%
– Final Charge damage increased to 200% from 90%

- Full Swing damage increased to 120%x2 and 360% (from 110%x2 and 350%)
– Final Toss damage increased to 350% from 110%
– Combo Critical rate downgraded from 6% per 10 combos to 3% per 10 combos
– Combo Penril damage decreased from 800% to 450%
– Rolling Spin damage increased to 280% from 120% now.

- Combo Tempest damage decreased from 1500% to 600%
– Over Swing damage increased to 180%x2 and 250%x2 (from 170%x2 and 240%x2)

7. (IEJ): Evan

Evan:
– Magic guard’s % got decreased to 70% of damage into MP, instead of the old 80%
– They got spell mastery just like every other mage class (max level 10).
– Elemental’s reset’s max level is 10 instead of 20.
– Chance of criticals is reduced to 15% from 30% at max level of Critical Magic (nothing is know at the moment for the damage increase if a critical is hit).
– Magic Booster’s max level is now 20 instead of 15.
– Slow’s max level is now 10 instead of 15.
– Elemental Amplification now is 120% damage for 150% MP instead of the old 135% damage for 180% MP.
– Blessing of Onyx gives now 250 Def and M.Def and 40 M.atk instead of the old 100/100/50.
– Dark Fog’s cooldown went up to 30 seconds at max level instead of 20 seconds.

8. (IDBJ): Dual Blade

Dual Blade:
– Triple Stab damage decreased from 200% three times to 135% three times
– Fatal blow damage decreased from 180% 8 times to 92% 8 times
– Slash storm damage decreased from 160% to 100%

- Bloody storm damage decreased from 280% to 170%
– Mirror Imaging percentage decreased from 60% to 40%
– Flying Assaulter damage decreased from 400% to 260%

- Final Cut damage decreased from 1500% to 1200%
– Monster Bomb damage decreased from 1200% to 800%
– Chains of Hell damage decreased from 250% to 130%
– Thorns critical rate decreased from 35% to 10%

Port Road is a map in Victoria Island that includes full access to the seven major towns in one area. You can climb up to access the station that goes to Ereb and Orbis. The two stations are no longer in Ellinia anymore. Ellinia became much smaller!

NPC’s can be found using the quest Window and through the World map. A list of NPC and/or monsterswill appear. The name and the level of the monster will appear.


10. (CII): Change in Maplestory’s Interface

Just Look: PICTURE 1 PICTURE 2

(After you looked): You noticed they changed the WHOLE User Interface, including the HP/MP/EXP bar, the menus at the bottom, skills panel, and it looks like it is more roomy. Which means, that you have more space for the map.

Also, in KMS you can play in window mode, and a special feature, you may play in 1024 by 768. Watch for yourself.

11. (NPQ): Party Quest Update

To characters, this is one update that can make people REALLY happy. You can Party Quest with any level, which means all items/and items are available to people who are over the quest preferred level. UP TO LEVEL 200! The maps inside the PQ’s

First Accomplishment: Lv.20 ~ Lv.200 (Watch this video)

Abandoned Tower: Lv.30 ~ Lv.200
Tower of Goddess: Lv.40 ~ Lv.200
Davy Jones/Pirate: Lv.50 ~ Lv.200

12. (ETC): Other Updates

Whew! This update is BIG, and it seems like leeching, and other Partner-Exp-Gains would become close -to/are obsolete. We don’t know if this update is going to be on the official server, but looking at the reactions to KMST 1.2.318, it seems like it does not appeal to most Maplers. But for all we know, it could just be a test, nothing more, or it can become real. Who knows, this update may become real, and things are still to be updated constantly, so anything can happen. Hello people!

Since I’m new here I probably have to say hi and tell about myself…

Well lets get started:
I’m Lars (known as MrPudding here, and on Maplestory fora), I’m 13 (turning 14 in January) and I live in the Netherlands, meaning I live in a (GMT+1) zone.
I learned English at school and I will be here to update about MapleStory Europe, MapleStory Global, MapleStory SEA, Combat Arms Europe, Combat Arms Global, Dungeon Fighter, Mabinogi and so many more Nexon games!
