Dual Blade Has Been Rescheduled…
We have rescheduled the Dual Blade release from Wednesday, July 14, 2010 to next week, Wednesday, July 21, 2010. We apologize for this rescheduling as we understand many players are excited for this momentous update. We want to ensure the update passes our quality check and we are able to deliver it with minimal difficulties. During this time we also hope to resolve some of the current game issues players have been experiencing. Please bear with us as we perform the additional necessary testing.
DAMN IT! Oh well, at least I will be on vacation for a week, so perfect timing on my view. Tell us what YOU think of Nexon’s move to reschedule Dual Blades to next week~

They provided their reasons and they are good reasons IMO. “We want to ensure the update passes our quality check and we are able to deliver it with minimal difficulties. The fact that they came straight up and gave us the reasons they were rescheduling the patch more than made me think “:D Nexon take all the time you need to make things perfect”.

Still, Nexon said that they would be released on the 14th. The Pre-DualBlade population just got headshot’d. They disappointed them, but at least Nexon provided a form of compensation. Really, I am neutral about this one week setback because I will be on vacation for a week.

This pissed me off. I’m gonna be leaving on Friday to visit family for two weeks and now i wont be able to play as a dual blader until a week and a half after the release….

Well, I suppose that a delay for quality check and finalization isn’t a bad reason at all. People who’ve played DFO are aware of this fact… (bugsbugsbugsbugsbugsbugs)
However, an extra week for testing is a rather long setback, and it’s understandable that a lot of people are frustrated. I personally don’t care since they haven’t fixed the exp curve yet lol

BULL! I didn’t hear about this …. I got back from vacation today and i was wondering… Where all the Dual Blades?! and I worked on a person to lv 20…. Fkin 2 hrs….. from scratch….. and finally found out that they re scheualded it…

Making a level 20 character will not get you a dual blade anyway. You must make a new character from a new tab on the character creation screen. It will not work at level 20 because a Dual Blade gets unique quests that start at level 2.
