Q: What is Dual Blade?

A: Dual Blade will be coming on July 14, 2010!Q: Is the Dual Blade class only available for a limited time?
A: No, Maplers will be able to make Dual Blade characters forever!Q: Will skill books be needed for Dual Blade?
A: Certain Dual Blade Mastery Books will be available in the Cash Shop but it is not required make or level up a Dual Blade character. If you are interested in purchasing the Mastery Books, you can check out our earn Free NX offers to pay for the books.Q: Will players be given an extra character slot to make a Dual Blade?
A: The maximum number of character slots will not be increased so Maplers that have not maxed out their character slots will receive a new character slot.More questions and answers coming soon!

do you need to have any theifs before you can make a dual blader? Because I only have mages and archers

No, you do not have to have any thieves in order to make a dual blade. Just as long as you don’t have your character slots maxed, Nexon will give you one for dual blade.

Yes and no. You can only save SP from job advancements such as II-II+ and III-III+

It was originally scheduled for the 14th, but was postponed to the 21st due to the recent meso exploits.

i made a noob for dual blades and gave him cool hair… does that mean i cant use him for dual blades i will need to create a new charcter?

That is true. The Dual Blade is a new class totally unrelated the the rest of the explorers. They recive unique story line quests at level 2 so making a character and waiting is not an option. If you do make a character for one, do not, I repeat, DO NOT, spend anything on it for it is only good as a name saver.

I completely agree with you. I for one don’t even think I will make a Dual Blade unless the events are worth it. I’m enjoying my Ice/Lightning Mage immensely and I’m not about to spend money for skills for a class that frankly is just there to make money.
