The New Mystery Job coming soon
Oh dang, get ready for something shocking.
In the Aran video, it has been said that one of the five ancient classes was the Aran.
That means there are 4 more jobs we have yet seen.
Some hours ago, kMST just updated their files and people looked into it and found out new equips that require Str and Int. Now, some say that there will be a Magician like job that summons because the armor looks like for mounts. But who knows?

Sneak Peak of Updating Patch
GM Oopia here, reporting to you from Nexon’s secret mountain fortress! Oopia,
If you stop snooping around, I will get you tickets to the big game.
I have my eye on you.
My fellow coworkers are buzzing with excitement. I think something major is coming to MapleStory soon, so I’ve been sneaking around disguised as a paper clip collecting as much intel for you as I can. I was able to get my hands on some scuttlebutt, yet the details are hazy… maybe you can help me make sense of what I’ve found so far?
With my paper clip disguise on, I carefully slinked over to the development department. The first piece of evidence I found was a top-secret document marked “J.A.” sitting on a developer’s desk. J.A.? Hmmm… “Jelly Abdomen?” No. “Jeopardy Answers?” Possible, but unlikely. “Job Advancement!” That makes sense! Job advancement is one of MapleStory’s coolest features. If dev has figured out a way to make it even better, I can’t wait to see what it is!
The next pieces of evidence I uncovered were a leash, a chew toy, and a collar in the break room. At first, I thought our office intern had gotten loose again. But then I noticed that the word “permanent” was inscribed on the collar, which left me even more confused. No one is weird enough to name their pet “Permanent,” even in our office. Then it hit me: this must be a part of whatever it is development is so pumped about… but I don’t understand what it all means. Help me!
On my way back to the GM Headquarters, I crept by a conference room where there was a whiteboard with some words frantically scribbled on it. The handwriting was awful, but I think it said “Wolf in sheep’s clothing party!!!” Whoever wrote it was very excited, which made me very excited. But what could it mean? Was it some weird office party coming up? We’ve had weirder, so that could be it. It might be some kind of new gameplay feature or event, but I can’t be sure. I’m perplexed. What do you think it means?
In any case, my curiosity was running wild! I saw the dev team gathering for a meeting. Since nobody ever suspects the paper clip, I was able to get close enough to hear a few words. I couldn’t make them out very well, but somebody said “points.” New kinds of points? New ways to earn points? What is it? “Dusty artifact,” the same voice said. Okay, now I’m totally confused. I inched closer to hear more clearly, but no luck. The last thing I could make out was “-ologist.” Biologist? Entomologist? Apologist? What does it all mean? I need answers!
My quest to discover what was coming to MapleStory was presenting me with more questions than answers. Discouraged, I trudged back to the GM Headquarters and flopped down at my ultra-cool Superdesk 5000. I was almost ready to give up and make myself feel better by treating myself to some new Gachapon when I spotted an envelope lying on my keyboard. Could this be the answer I was looking for? I ripped it open and read the letter inside.
- Anonymous
Who is “Anonymous”? I don’t know anyone with that name. Are they friend or foe? Wait… “tickets”… “game” … this must be another clue! What in MapleStory has tickets? How can it get even better? Do you have any idea? Because I sure don’t!
I can’t figure it all out, but I know I’m getting closer. This much is clear: whatever is coming soon is going to be at least ten kinds of awesome. I’ll keep snooping around for more clues. This time, I think I’ll disguise myself as a ceiling tile and see what the design team is doing. As soon as I have more intel, I’ll report back to you. Until then, happy Mapling!

Now, this is the updating November patch that’s going to came out, or so it says on the website.
Since I know some detailed information due to YouTube videos and such, this is what’s coming out:\
Paragraph2: The Aran job coming out to Global.
EDIT: This might not be true. This could be the 5 Job Helms with 24 stats for the specific job. It’s either one or the other.
Paragraph3: More permanent items.
Paragraph4: Wolf and Sheep Jump Quest Event
Paragraph5: Gaga the Archeoligist (or however it’s spelled).
Paragraph6: New Gachapon items. I’m not sure about new tickets. (But from my experience from some private servers, the data inside included “Gachapon for Slot Machines” and such stuff. Could that be the new tickets he was reffering to?)

The Brigade is Recruiting, Again !
Surprise ! Nexon is finally doing something to make the players happy !

Hime recently released the application form for the MapleWatch Leaf Brigade the other day (link to form at bottom of article). Contrary to recent belief they CANNOT ban people, Nexon still leaves this to the GMs.
For you people who don’t know what this is, it’s a lower form of a GM, if you will, that “watches” people. They also get a hat that looks similar to the GM’s hat to let people know who they really are.
Unfortunatly, for the ToS offenders, you cannot apply for the “MapleWatch Leaf Brigade” according to Hime, as this is one of the 4 real requirements .
- Have either a character that is level 70, or have a level 45 on an account that has been created 2 years before the application post date, or both !
- Have no current ban on your account(s)
- Have no prior bans for hacking on your account(s)
- Be in our service area.
The other 2 requirements involve pie, cookies, and cake, but probably not in the way I’ve got you thinking. Who knew a Nexon employee could have a sense of humor !
In addition to all of this, they also released a new GM blog about a fellow name Senecio, who used to be a player but got “upgraded” if you will, to a MapleWatch Leaf Brigade member. It also briefly describes what the MWLB is .
Sign up for the “MapleWatch Leaf Brigade” here if you are interested ! And if you still don’t get what the brigade is all about, and want to read Senecio’s story, look here !
Anyways , i’m out , leave comments below on what you think of the “MapleWatch Leaf Brigade”,
See you soon ! Serenity

It looks like MapleStory’s most infamous private server to date won’t be around much longer. On November 3rd the administrator of DestinyMS and RPM, Shadow, made the announcement that they have been unable to pay their bills for the past few months. Shadow also confessed that they owe €1,500 euros which is roughly $2,230 for our American readers.
Due to unable to pay for our bills for the past few months, or barely.
We already had a problem earlier with out domains, what, luckely, got settled before any damage ocures. As of now, our DMS server has lost its connection untill further notice, we had about 1000-1500 euro standing open on bills, where we paid about 350 euro from yesterday.
I’m letting them charge 500euro from my bank account, after this is done, hopefully we will get our service back. How long this will last, is unknown, might be a day, or 3-5 days. Maybe even till the end of the month.
As i’ve got more bills to pay, and i rather wouldnt give up that 500euro just yet (as i really need the money), but as i have no other choice…. i will have to, otherwise it will be byebye DMS, and i dont want that to happen.
Anyways, everyone’s updated. Enjoy the downtime.
Do not complain unless you donate(d). Thanks.
Regards,
DMS Administration.
Shadow has stated he will be paying €500 in an attempt to put the server online, but as one onlooker commented, “Flushing their money down the toilet is a better investment!” it doesn’t look like it will do them any good.
Is MapleStory Coming to the iPhone?
I received an e-mail yesterday with a link to a YouTube video showing what a potential MapleStory iPhone app would look like using Photoshop. I honestly thought it was the real thing when I first saw the video!
The creator posted a short synopsis on the video page.
Have you ever wanted to play MapleStory from your iPhone or iPod Touch? Well, that feeling was very mutual so I bring to you iPhoneMS. A full fledged version of MapleStory with a redesigned UI to accommodate running on a much smaller screen.
Unfortunately, this is simply a mockup of how the UI might look, and how the game might play on an iPhone. I am not making an actual app. This was all made in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop.
Stay tuned for an interview with the creator.
a couple of more funny images.
Sometimes all you need in a day is something to lighten your mood and give you a chuckle
And I’ll try to post a semi-serious article sometime soon. I’m just too unserious to do so haha.
