The Maple News Network was created in July of 2007 by Savage and friends. MNN is comprised of the main site, Maple-News.com, which is the first and only MapleStory news website. Other sites such as MapleBlog and the MapleStory Fail Blog are also part of the network in addition to news and music radio stations.
Here at MNN we value unbiased news that can educate and interest the average mapler and gamer about their community and coming features. Maple News is known and respected by Nexon America and expects to expand to other Nexon games in coming months.
We strive to bring you the latest and most accurate MapleStory news and bringing together an intelligent and entertaining community.
The Upcoming BlockParty
Blockheads are the creepy guys running out of the NEXON logo. Nexon says they will be using them a lot in events such as the Blockhead Invasion!
Here is Nexon’s intro video in case you’ve forgotten since the last time you’ve played.
This means that Nexon will be changing their name to BlockParty! This, coupled with various new features, could perhaps bring about new-found interest in Nexon from onlookers hoping to play some new games.

If you click on the Blockheads at the top-middle of the screen, you’ll see what they will be doing with the site.

What is going on at Nexon.net you ask?? The Blockheads (the feisty little green dudes with party hats) have come to share the BlockParty gospel in their…”unique” way. We don’t always understand their tactics, but they know how to have fun doing it, so what are you going to do?
So check out the BlockParty infotainment animatory thing. The Blockheads spent a lot of time on it, and we’re pretty sure you will see why.

I watched the little video they had on the website and I agree with you Savage. Nexon is like Facebook and they got some of the ideas from Outspark.com

And after taking two steps forward in customer relations, Nexon was loaded into a cannon and shot back several miles with this update. This is going to be a death nail for many players, I think.

OMFG I LOVED NEXON LIKE IN 2007 BUT NOW THEY SUCK!!!! AHHHH why do they have to make my maple, mabi, c.a. experience more of a hell! i acctually looked up to nexon now all they do is PATCH and the first thing that comes in my mide is, FUCK more ways to make the game more boring. what happend to getting to lvl 30 was awesome or getting to lvl 70 meant your a pro. and why did they ban tiger… nexon, gaming of america. HA more like gaming for nubs

People calm down. Everyone flips out when ever a major update to something they love happens, (ex.-KoC) Also when the big xbox live update happened so many people said the same things but everyone loves it now. Lets just ride it out and see where we end up. It could be good.

LMAO! seriously most of the people who play maple are those unsocial strategizers that always find new ways to rip off newbies or who spend hours doing hardcore grinding and mass scrolling, I don’t think that ‘facebook’ is gonna help

On the contary, I’d say more like 60% of the people that play Maplestory are children that do have a life (but they probably might be spoiled, judging from all the money into NX cash, I’m willing to bet there are 5yr olds with an iphone playing MS).
The other 40% though, I’d say I agree….Especially in Asian Maplestory servers. If you play KMS, or Korean Maplestory, theres a channel for ADULTS (as in an age requirement)……..kinda sad, isn’t it?
