The Maple News Network was created in July of 2007 by Savage and friends. MNN is comprised of the main site, Maple-News.com, which is the first and only MapleStory news website. Other sites such as MapleBlog and the MapleStory Fail Blog are also part of the network in addition to news and music radio stations.
Here at MNN we value unbiased news that can educate and interest the average mapler and gamer about their community and coming features. Maple News is known and respected by Nexon America and expects to expand to other Nexon games in coming months.
We strive to bring you the latest and most accurate MapleStory news and bringing together an intelligent and entertaining community.
XtremeTop100 Down: For Good?
XTremeTop100, the popular private server top site, has been offline for most of June 10th. There has been no announcement from the site itself, but it seems that several things could have happened.
- A Syntax error could result from someone entering an incorrect code or something in the database may be missing
- Something wrong with their hosting/server
- Other speculations
The obvious conclusion to many is, “NEXON DID IT!” We should not jump to conclusions. The site would not be completely shut down, only the MapleStory aspect of it.
This post will be updated with alerts and other updates when we get them.
UPDATE: It has been confirmed that Xtremetop100 was just undergoing maintenance. Thank you.

Can you please post news articles with fully supported evidence rather then just jumping to conclusions? Xtreme-Top always goes down once or twice a month. Why would Xtreme-Top 100 get shut down by Nexon? Nexon knows they aren’t doing anything which is law-break worthy. All they are doing is giving AD-Space to users. Also, think about it, why would they shutdown the entire website when they can just shutdown the section if they really needed to?

Where do they jump to a conclusion? The author is just referencing a previous topic’s comments where users are claiming Nexon is the reason behind it. The author in no way states that this is the case.
But perhaps the article has changed since you commented… ;p

Haha I will jump to conclusions… Since Nexon has exploded in downing privet servers and all who develop them. Nexon has probably shut them down. Well, that and that if you click on any privet server link it takes you to “Nexon.net”.

If anyone has a problem with how this website is run and would like to show it by flaming articles, sending threats, and harassing others, I suggest that you double check your moral values (if you have any).

Update: All Xtremetop.com links now links to their own sites, and do not allow you to display websites on your descriptiion, guides sites and non privates servers breaking Nexon ToS seems to be left unafected.
