Dear Maplers,

This is the best time to get lucky in our MapleSEA’s Chinese New Year “Red Packet Giveaway” in-game event!

Head to the Shanghai Wai-Tan on the 26th January 2009 to participate in our New Year celebration event and stand a chance to walk away with MaplePoints!!!

Lunar New Year “Red Packet Giveaway” Event
Date: 26th January 2009
Time: Bootes, Cassiopeia, Fornax: 1500hrs to 1600hrs;
Aquila, Delphinus, Eridanus: 1630hrs to 1730hrs
Venue: Shanghai Wai-Tan


Prizes:

Each world will have 8 winners walking away with 8888 MaplePoints each.


Prize Collection:

  • The GM will take down the winner’s IGN.
  • A 30-digit code will be sent to the winner via the Qbox within 10 days.
  • Winner shall collect their 8888 MaplePoints via the code number in the Cash Shop.


How to Play?

1. A news message, along with the relevant information, will be displayed on top of the screen 15 mins before the start of the game. The stated information will include the time and channel of the event. Players are to gather at Shanghai Wai-Tan.
2. Keep a look out for the announcement of the event. Upon starting of the game, GM will slide a greeting message with a word jumbled up. Note that this scrabbled word will always start with a Capital letter for easy recognition.
3. Players have to figure out the correct word and use it as a password to unlock the Mini-game room set up by our mystery character.
4. Once a winner has been produced, the GM will move on to the next Greeting Message with another jumbled up word.


Rules and Regulations:

• Any forms of hacks usage found in this event will be dealt with according to our User Abuse Policy.
• Players who use offensive, sexual, abusive representations etc will result in disqualification & disciplinary dealt with according to our User Abused Policy.
• Answers that are made without adhering to our rule will not be considered.
• There will be 8 winners in each world.
• Winner who had won in the same world will not be selected to win again as a form of fairness to other players.
• GM’s decision is final.

It’s an event you won’t want to miss! We wish all Maplers to have a blissful and properous Chinese New Year!!!
