Your post has nothing to do with this regarding the subject.
The fact that such thing happened in Isreal has no meaning at all, but merely a fact where it happened. He did not get arrested because of Isreal or whatsoever, but because of Nexon, who are settled in Korea.
It could’ve happened anywhere, even in the USA or Western Europe.
To me your just implying that Isreal is the guilty one, which is absolutely ignorant.

Regarding the subject:
Strange really, as Nexon said at first ‘We don’t care about private servers, as long as they aren’t charging the maplers who play at it.’
Looks like they’ve changed their point of view, and they are trying to take down as many servers as they can.
It’s all so obvious that the article has been written out of Nexon’s point of view, instead of being objective.
For example; they make it sound like he hacked into the maplestory serrvers to purposefully take down nexon. Which is a total lie, he merely tried to give the players the oppurtunity to play the ‘full’ game.
Stuff like this doesn’t make me quit private servers, it made me quit maplestory in general. It just feels like it’s Nexon vs. PrivateServers right now. And that’s a bad thing.

i ma be new but i found the forums and did som research it is bcos most of the private server creators are kids or are not so rich but titanms and odinms are filthy rich and im not sure bout d creators but i know that they get lots of ndonations and if u go to youtube u can even find gm codes and vids from odin and titan ms

Do you people not know anything??? TitanMS and OdinMS were both sources, titan was coded in C++ and Odin was coded in Java. They were targeted because they provided the open source framework to other servers to use. They did FAR more damage then just hosting a server, they provided thousands of other servers the ability to take Nexon’s property.

Good lord, I didn’t see this before. I must admit this IS hilarious-I mean, this is like Muhammud Ali vs a 5 yr old, or Tiger woods vs a person who neever played gold in his or her life.

Michael, to answer your questions, the reason nexon “forgot that little fact” is because like all billion dollar private corporations, they are concerned about keeping the general populace of MS pacified and to reap a profit. After all, the purpose of a company is to provide a form or service/a false one (if its working for the mafia) and attempt to reap income.

I’M SURPRISED NEXON WILL TRAVEL HALFWAY ACROSS THE WORLD FROM KOREA AND AMERICA JUST TO ARREST ONE RATHER INGENIOUS STUDENT FOR CREATING AN ALTERNATE VERSION OF MAPELSTORY.

*Note: Can people try to find data from JMS, since although I play KMS, GMS, and MSEA, JMS has a lot of “cultural places” that no other servers have; private servers would make a killing blow on Nexon if this happend.
