Hi everyone,

Savage here. I want to talk about a few issues regarding NEXON going on via comments on our website. First and foremost, we value your right to freedom of speech. Many viewers have been expressing their freedom of speech by shouting rude and unintelligent insults at NEXON. We know that many of you are extremely upset about what NEXON is doing to OdinMS. We feel the same way. A lot of you have taken the time to write very thoughtful and intelligent comments regarding this issue. However, many of you have taken the less intelligent approach by shouting insults like “Fuck you NEXON!” “NEXON YOU SUCK!” “NEXON GO DIE!” etc. You get the idea.

Loliness and I get the brunt of editing and deleting these comments. Amongst other bots trying to post spam on our site, we have to read through pages of comments where many of them are comments like I stated above that are just plain dumb. We’ve been very lenient with you guys and we work extremely hard to bring the MapleStory community the latest and most correct news. A lot of us feel like a lot of people don’t really care about what we do. Why? You repay us for endless hours of updating the site, writing news articles, adding new features to the site by spamming our site and shouting idiotic insults to a company who yes, has done some hurtful things, but who did create MapleStory and who deserves a little respect. We realize you all are young as are we, but we’re tired- I’m tired of dealing with the stupidity of people who think by cursing at someone just because they don’t like them makes them seem smarter or superior to NEXON. We ask for nothing in return. We started Maple-News because we loved writing and loved MapleStory. This site has turned into a job lately and many of us, including myself, are getting sick and tired of working our asses off when people treat us like shit.

So, I’m implementing a new rule. For now on any comments that include curses insulting NEXON or anyone else will be deleted. If we see you don’t stop, then we’ll just set the comment to spam and ban your IP so you can no longer comment on Maple-News. Those of you who continue to be respectful and kind to us with your amazing comments, keep it up. We appreciate it and we do notice what you guys do. If you have a problem with not being able to insult NEXON by cursing excessively, then you can leave. You guys are still more than welcome to comment and share your thoughts whether they be positive or negative, but please be smart about it. Don’t just spam random insults at them. If you have a brain, then use it.
