The Maple News Network was created in July of 2007 by Savage and friends. MNN is comprised of the main site, Maple-News.com, which is the first and only MapleStory news website. Other sites such as MapleBlog and the MapleStory Fail Blog are also part of the network in addition to news and music radio stations.
Here at MNN we value unbiased news that can educate and interest the average mapler and gamer about their community and coming features. Maple News is known and respected by Nexon America and expects to expand to other Nexon games in coming months.
We strive to bring you the latest and most accurate MapleStory news and bringing together an intelligent and entertaining community.
OdinMS Blog Shut Down. Computers and servers confiscated.
On July 22nd, 2008, there was an update made on OdinMS.de. There was no author indicated but he or she explained a bit further into what is going on with the case.
As you probably noticed the OdinMS blog has been down since July 21st 2008. The reason for this is that all our computers, including servers, have been confiscated by the public prosecutor’s office of Saarbrücken.
Please understand that on our lawyers’ advice we can’t go into too much detail here. We will try to keep you informed about the proceedings as much as possible.
Since the lawsuits ahead of us will cause us a lot of financial trouble we decided to accept donations. Please note that like always you won’t get any compensation for your donations. They will be used to cover the expenses of traveling, consultations with lawyers and similar. They won’t be used to pay any fines or the like.
If you decide to donate you can do so below. After choosing the currency you will be redirected to PayPal and prompted for your desired amount.
The OdinMS staff/creators are accepting donations. I for one can agree that we all feel for them in this trying time. No one deserves to be sued almost over half a million dollars, not for a Private Server for a game called MapleStory. Lets hope everything goes well.

Wow.. that’s ridiculous… if Nexon wanted people to stop playing private servers, maybe they should do a better job of making their own servers playable? Or maybe they should make it a bit less difficult to level up? (it takes almost 5 years of casual gameplay to get to the max level.)
I don’t know. I got sick of maplestory a long time before the massive web of private servers started… oh well…

i stopped playing gms when i found out about private servers….
it’s occured to me how much grind t even takes nowa days to get to lv 70
just for ur 3rd job advance
and then they have kids spend money on nx that wont even last it expires in 90days and 90days later they go back and get more nx
that is bs it should atleast last for one year
i mean or even never expire cuz i mean really thing about it
you spend what 9 bucks and 99 cents on sum fake clothes for an internet game and you dont even playthe internet game anymore thats cheap
i bought nx for maplestory and played on a private server short after
and i havent even had a chance to fully use my nx b4 it expired its maddness nexon should be the one sued for convincing kids that spending their money on nx is kewl and they dont push the fact that is does indeed expire over time
