Today NEXON shut down another major MapleStory Private Server, FinalStory. The below statement was posted on their site (FinalStory.org): This is not a hoax. Recently (A few days ago now) I met a 108 Crusader who had much experience in MapleStory, and has been playing since around the v.20 mark. He's seen prices back then, and they were fine. Here's what happened, a local user of MapleStory Japan hacked into there billing system database (which adds NX Cash to your account after purchasing it) and sent 36,000,000 NX cash to his account! Shockingly, he got caught because when you access a database for a very popular game it leaves access logs which a former employee looked at and reported it to the cops.
