Well, it looks like Nexon America has finally addressed one of the elephants in the room the past few months: unjustified bans. Many players were wrongfully banned for coming in contact with exploited mesos through other players as large amounts were introduced throughout the maple economy. Normally, in order to ban a player, evidence must be compiled and the case reviewed, and then, and only then, will a permanent ban be issued. So, Nexon just skipped all of that (perhaps we should be blaming their new rent-a-GMs?) and went straight to the ban hammer.
The good news:
Mapler.me’s closure two weeks ago came to a surprise to many, so we decided to sit down with the website’s founder, Tyler aka The Blue Corsair, to ask him more about the closure and much more.
Many people believe you’re not telling the whole truth to why Mapler.me closed down? Why did the social network close?
Mapler.me was requested to be shut down by Nexon America as their legal department deemed it to be stealing their intellectual rights and copyrights. In addition, they considered our client a security risk; not that it was/is unsafe, but that they could not ensure this would always be the case to protect players. (more…)
October 31 is a spooky day for us! The GMs will be appearing throughout the day in different towns, and they’ll be in their scariest costumes to celebrate this spooktacular day! Stop by and enjoy the haunting with Monster Summoning and GM Meet and Greetevents when you see the in-game notice. It may be scary, but fear not! The GMs will be there to send the monsters packing if they get out of control.
Enjoy the fun events and have a Happy Halloween!

Hey guys! So, you’ve worked all week and you think to yourself, “Hey, remember that game, uh, MapleStory I used to play? I wonder if it stopped sucking while I was gone!” The average mapler would then respond, “Good sir, MapleStory is dying,” or something along those lines. “Stay away!”
Well, you decide to check out the game again anyway. Remember those silly game cards you used to buy? Why, not! Pick one up! $10 won’t hurt! Open your wallets and throw down some bills, bitches! Nexon wants your money, and they want it now. Microtransactions? Ha! Better be ready to blow your summer savings on some NX cash in the new pay-to-win world that is SoloStory! C’mon kids! Don’t think, just spend! We’ll ban you tomorrow, we don’t care! Oh, and don’t even bother opening a ticket, we’ll just ignore it. Forums? Ha! Your thread will be locked and you will be…wait for it…wait for it…banned again! Ha! We don’t care about our customers, just our quarterly profits! There’s a new community manager every month, we either fire him – or he quits because he realizes how completely and utterly hopeless things have become.
But hey, it doesn’t matter. You’ll all just keep coming back and we’ll suck this game, and whomever is gullible enough, dry until there’s nothing left.
Well, kiddies and old geezers alike, here are some completely and utterly useless cash shop specials for the week of October 23 – 29.
While Nexon America’s customer support continues to be plagued by glitches, long response times, and incompetence, Nexon Europe has just launched a French customer support service for almost all their game titles.
We would like to inform you that as of 22nd October 2013, we will be providing full French customer support service for:
* Combat Arms
* War Rock
* Navy Field 2
You may also notify us in French of your account related issues, as well as questions regarding payments.
Therefore, we will be able to provide a more convenient support for our French-speaking players.
